BPC-157 and TB-500 come up together constantly in soft-tissue and repair research, which leads people to assume they're interchangeable. They aren't. BPC-157

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 amino acids) derived from a protective protein found in human gastric juice. In preclinical models it is one of the most extensively studied compounds for soft-tissue repair, with published animal studies examining tendon-to-bone healing, muscle regeneration, inflammatory bowel models and counteracting NSAID-induced damage. Its stability in gastric juice makes it a frequent subject of oral-versus-parenteral bioavailability research.

TB-500

The Ascend TB-500 product is full-length, N-terminally acetylated 43-amino-acid Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide involved in actin regulation. It is distinct from the shorter LKKTETQ fragment that is sometimes sold under the same name. Research literature focuses on cell migration and wound-model research. Because it acts on the cytoskeleton and cell motility, the questions studied are mechanistically different from BPC-157's, even where the research areas overlap.
